1. I am the mother of one wonderful girl and one wonderful little boy. I never could have imagined how, at the same time, motherhood is so great yet so exhausting.
2. I can never figure out why people dye their hair red.
3. I met my husband when I was 14 and thought he was perfect (for me). 11 years later I found out I was right 
4. I know what it feels like to look at my child in a hospital bed and realize there is nothing I can do but be there and love her. I’m so thankful for life.
5. I like to cook.
6. When both kids are with their dad or asleep and I should be able to get all kinds of things crossed off my list. I just want to sit and enjoy the quite – meaning I don’t always get much done – unless a little R & R counts.
7. I am stepping out of my comfort zone to do this.

Trip to the Dentist

Quiana had her first trip to the dentist about a month ago - but had to go back yesterday to get a tooth sealed. She was such a cute, big girl in the dentist chair.

Thanks for Visiting

We had a busy week with 6 kids here . . . "2" actually seems quite peaceful today. Seemed that water was the highlight - water fights, swimming and catching fish, frogs and snails. Thanks Hugh and Carmen for making the long trip out here to see us!

Oregon Coast

We have had a wonderful week with Hugh, Carmen & Family . . . we went to the coast for a few days and now they are at our place for a few days. Quiana is sure there is nothing better than cousins!

There is a lizard on the back of the chair - Trapper thinks it is quite neat! Too bad his mom won't actually help him play with it.

It's almost impossible to keep Trapper inside - the hose is his favoirte new toy.


Quiana played with her friend Kylee on Tuesday . . . they must have been wishing it was cooler since the "dressed up" for winter.

I haven't posted in so long that I don't even know what we've been doing. They finished 1st cutting last night, so we will have a nice break before 2nd starts. Here are some haying pictures (for those of you who appreciate farming).
