Quiana, Baylon and I had a fun morning at the Park with some friends. Trapper, however, has been busy combining all day. . . maybe we'll have pictures of that later.

The kids participated in the greased pig contest this year. If they catch a pig they get to take it home. I think it's best that all we came home with was dirty pants!

What is Baylon Doing?

Baylon is almost 3 months and is still a good little baby! He wakes up just once during the night and is content most of the day. He is the easiest baby I've had so far, but I'm still trying to get the hang of it - hopefully it will come soon. In the meantime I am enjoying the baby (and the other 2) and glad my husband puts up with a messy house.

Trapper recently got a new bike which has encouraged Quiana to FINALLY take an interest in riding hers . . . and as a bonus, they're working on paving our road so before long it will be much easier for them to ride. Hopefully winter doesn't come too soon.

Baylon is Smiling & Growing

Baylon had his 6 week check up yesterday. He came in at 12 lbs. and 22 3/4 inches -"he is a big boy with lots of brains" the Dr. said. Meaning . . . he just has a big head ;-) The kids & the rest of us are really enjoying watching him as he smiles, coos & interacts.

Baylon is 5 weeks old today & we've all done some adjusting but are so happy to have this little one in our family.

Quiana's Birthday - Finally!

I'm having one of those "I feel like a terrible MOM moments." Quiana did have a wonderful birthday - but I have almost no pictures. It may have something to do with the being 37 weeks pregnant & having 25 people (11 kids under 6) at the house that night. But . . . this is what I have to show - she did indeed turn "5" and is definitely acting it already!
